There were Mr. Sok Dareth - Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Vanxay Xay Sena - Deputy Consulate General of the People's Democratic Republic of Laos in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Wee Joon Seok - Deputy Consulate General of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Nguyen Phuong Nga - President of Vietnam UFO; Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission , Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Ho Quang Diep - Member of Provincial Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Central Committee of the provinces and cities; leaders of Binh Duong province in many terms and 180 official representatives representing 1,542 members in the whole province attending the congress.
The report at the congress showed that during 23 years of establishment and development, the province's UFO has continuously made efforts to well perform its political tasks, being a specialized agency for the provincial people's foreign affairs. Up to now, the Union has 08 friendship member associations with 1,542 members participating in the activity.
During the term 2015-2020, the Union has organized many large-scale peace, solidarity and friendship activities in order to enhance friendship and solidarity with partners and friends in the world, promoting external information cooperation in various and effective forms, forming an all-people front in the work of people's foreign affairs.
The Union strengthened and expanded people's relations with other countries; established 5 more member associations; at the same time promote and develop in-depth people's relations with Laos and Cambodia.
In the mobilization of foreign non-governmental aid, the province's UFO has actively acted as a bridge in the campaign, actively contributing to poverty reduction, education – training, etc. and contributing to effectively deal with the province's social security goals.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presents the Hanging of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the Congress.
Determining that the external communication and propaganda play an important role, through activities of peace, solidarity, friendship and international cooperation, the Province's UFO actively and proactively introduced the socio-economic development, investment potentials and opportunities of the province with foreign delegations, helping foreigners to better understand the country and the Vietnamese in general and Binh Duong in particular.
In term 2020-2025, the Union will focus on renewing the modes of operation, improving the quality and efficiency of people's foreign affairs; gather social organizations, develop the force to do the work of people's foreign affairs to participate in implementing foreign policies of the Party, the State and of the province with the aim of promoting the core role in the activities of people's external relations under the motto "Active, flexible, creative and effective"; constantly consolidate and develop in-depth international relations; strengthen and improve the efficiency of foreign non-governmental work; improve the quality of consultancy, external information, strengthen and develop the organization; strengthen friendship exchanges, act as a bridge to promote cooperation in many fields, effectively contribute to the general external goals of the province.
The Union will contribute to striving to build Binh Duong for a sustainable development towards a smart, civilized and modern city, etc.
The congress elected the Executive Committee of Binh Duong UFO for the term 2020-2025 including 25 members, the Inspection Committee includes 03 members. At the first session, the Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee of the Province's UFO for the term 2020-2025, including 07 members, and Ms. Tran Thi Kim Van was re-elected as the Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2020-2025.

Delivering a speech at the congress, on behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the Province's UFO in recent years.
At the same time, it is suggested that, in the term 2020-2025, the UFO should pay attention to improving the quality of efficiency in external activities, developing organization of member associations; it is necessary to closely coordinate with agencies, units and localities to well manage and guide the activities of foreign non-governmental organizations in the province; strengthen international cooperation relationships, take advantage of mobilizing aid from foreign non-governmental organizations; continue to consolidate and build the internal unity block associated with strengthening the organization of specialized agencies, as well as the member organizations to ensure lean, effective operation.
On this occasion, 07 individuals were honored to receive the Medal of "For peace and friendship among the peoples" awarded by the Vietnam UFO; 01 team and 01 individual received the Certificate of Merit from Vietnam UFO. The Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 13 collectives and 14 individuals with excellent achievements in people's foreign affairs in the period 2015-2020.
