There were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and leaders of Becamex IDC and more than 100 Korean enterprises attending the seminar.
At the seminar, Korean enterprises discussed issues related to Binh Duong's investment attraction policies such as term of land lease, extension conditions of land lease as well as support policies for enterprises who were affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, etc. Leaders of the province, departments, and sectors specifically responded to what enterprises were concerned about, at the same time introduced the potentials, advantages and fields that Binh Duong gives priority to attract investment in the coming time.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc said that as one of the most thriving industrial provinces in Vietnam, Binh Duong continuously improves the investment environment, enhances competitiveness and enhances support for the development of enterprises who invest in the province through the improvement of socio-economic infrastructure systems such as traffic, water supply, electricity, environmental treatment, simplification of administrative procedures, planning to expand industrial zones, creating a clean land fund for investment attraction, developing human resource, building social housing and housing for workers, and sufficiently and timely providing labor resources for enterprises to invest in the province. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc affirmed that provincial leaders and departments are ready to listen and promptly solve difficulties and problems, create favorable conditions for investors and enterprises to operate effectively in production and business.
The seminar overview
Up to now, Korea is the country who has the largest investment in Vietnam, with more than 8,500 projects and a total investment capital of 70.2 billion USD. Particularly in Binh Duong province, Korea has invested 756 projects with a total capital of 3.2 billion USD, accounting for nearly 5% of the total investment capital of Korea in Vietnam. In 2020, despite many difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic, in 10 months, Binh Duong province has attracted over 1 billion 700 million USD of foreign investment capital. Up to now, Binh Duong province has attracted 3,913 foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of over 35.3 billion USD.
