The BDAWE was born in 2004 with its predecessor being the Club of Women Entrepreneurs, over the past 15 years of operation, the BDAWE increasingly strengthens the linkage, cooperation, mutual assistance, encourages members to make efforts to develop production and business as well as improve qualifications, knowledge, management capacity and development. Thereby, it contributes to affirm the role of women entrepreneurs in the entrepreneurs' community and in the economic development of the province.
During the past term, the BDAWE has actively implemented key solutions to disseminate and propagate the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws on economic development, and raise awareness and responsibility of members on social responsibility and community welfare, etc. The total amount that the women entrepreneurs contribute to charity work in the 2015-2020 term is nearly VND 14 billion.
Authorized by the Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Loc Ha awards the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister to the BDAWE
With the theme "Sharing love", term 2020-2025, the BDAWE will promote activities to support women entrepreneurs in production and business, enhancing responsibility for employees, consumers and social community. Strengthening solidarity, developing new members, paying special attention to women doing small and medium business. Renovating the contents and modes of operation, strengthening the coordination between the association and the Party executive committees at all levels, the authorities and social organizations in order to continuously improve the position and role of the Association in the economic development of the province.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts, trying and results achieved by the women entrepreneurs' community in the province in recent years. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished the province's female entrepreneurs to continue sharing, linking, supporting, promoting talents and intelligence, contributing to improving the capacity of each female-led enterprise; actively participate in social security activities, join hands with all levels of the Women's Union in the province to care for the poor, especially women in extremely difficult circumstances, poor students fond of learning. The BDAWE needs to promote its role as a gathering place, demonstrating the bravery of good women in economic management, production and business administration and a gathering place of compassionate hearts, etc.
The Executive Committee of the BDAWE for the 2020-2025 term launches the Congress
The Congress elected the 3rd Executive Committee of the BDAWE for the 2020-2025 term including 11 people. Ms. Vu Kieu Nu was re-elected as the Chairman of the Association.
On this occasion, the BDAWE was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with many contributions to the development of the province in the past time. The BDAWE donated 45 compassion houses to localities in the province; VND 1 billion to the Provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People and Orphans; supported VND 250 million for the Provincial Fund for the Poor and VND 250 million for the Provincial Start-up Women Fund.
