Over the past 5 years of implementing the coordination between the Provincial Public Security and the Provincial Youth Union, there have been many outstanding results. Through good models, effective methods with diversified and rich content, it have actively contributed to the the fight, prevention and combat of crime and drug abuse in Binh Duong province. Every year, the two branches have coordinated to organize propaganda activities in response to the day of the entire population on drug prevention and combat on June 26, plan to open a peak wave of drug prevention and combat. At the same time, implementing the Project "Improving the efficiency of drug prevention and combat in communes, wards and towns" in the province; implementing the Project "Strengthening legal education for people serving imprisonment sentences, people being subjected to judicial measures or administrative handling measures, people newly released from prison reintegrating into the community, young people violating the law, being homeless in the 2018-2021 period".
In addition, the force of Public security and the Provincial Youth Union have coordinated with committees and branches to organize propaganda about the harms of drugs and how to identify drug users, train on detoxification in families and communities to be nearly 5,000 times with more than 460,000 participants, distribute more than 600,000 leaflets to propagate about drug prevention and combat, etc. Along with that, models of drug prevention and combat are built, maintained and replicated at grassroots to promote positivity such as: Model "All people participate in denouncing crimes and social evils via hotlines", model "Managing and educating children in the family without crime and social evils", etc., typically the model "Sunflower Journey", clubs "Light up the belief", etc.
According to the report, as of June 2020, in Binh Duong province, the Investigation Police on Drug-related Crimes is managing more than 3,100 drug addicts. In which, the main age is from 18-30 years old, accounting for nearly 70% of the addicts.

Since then, contributing to reducing drug-related crimes and other types of crime, bringing peaceful and happy lives for people.
