PORTAL- According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province, as of November 10, 2020, Binh Duong has received more than 22.2 billion VND to support people in the Central region who have been damaged by floods.
Specifically, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Province (the Relief Committee) has received donations of more than 10.5 billion VND; the system of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities in Binh Duong province mobilized a total amount of more than 11.7 billion VND. The total amount mobilized by Binh Duong province is over 22.2 billion VND. Regarding goods, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (Relief Committee) coordinates with the provincial Red Cross to receive goods from sponsors, including necessities, rice, instant noodles, milk, spring water, clean clothes, canned food, etc. The total value of received goods is nearly 1.4 billion VND. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee transferred the amount of 10 billion VND from the Provincial Relief Fund to Quang Binh, Quang Tri (each province 2.5 billion VND), Thua Thien - Hue (2 billion VND), Quang Nam, Ha Tinh (each province 1.5 billion VND). At the same time, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee joined the relief team of Binh Duong province to visit, give gifts, and deliver relief goods directly to 4,300 ethnic households in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien – Hue which were damaged by storms and floods with the total amount of 2.6 billion VND.
