VSSES is a joint venture between Sembcorp Industries Group, Becamex IDC Corporation and Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Company Limited (VSIP). Established in June 2020, VSSES combines urban solution and sustainable energy with operating expertise from Sembcorp, experience and strong partnership with VSIP and Becamex IDC. VSSES aims to bring economic and environmental benefits to customers and stakeholders by providing the best rooftop solar power solutions for VSIP's urban and industrial areas as well as industrial parks and infrastructure owned by Becamex IDC over Vietnam. This network represents more than 1,000 potential business customers who are eligible to convert to renewable energy through VSSES solutions.

It is known that VSSES has started construction and installation of rooftop solar power projects with a capacity of about 8 megawatt-peak (MWp) in Binh Duong province, expected to be completed by the end of 2020. VSSES has also completed the installation of a 51 kilowatt-peak (kWp) rooftop solar power plant on the roof of the VSIP administration office in Binh Duong province in September 2019. The generated renewable energy reduces carbon emissions for VSSES customers in industrial zones.
VSSES smart rooftop solar power solutions are designed to integrate with customers' production activities. VSSES will be on behalf of customers to install, own, operate and maintain grid-connected rooftop solar power solutions, so that customers can focus on their production business, also save energy costs and contribute to a more sustainable green environment.
