The meeting approved the Direction and Administration Report of the Provincial People's Committee and the situation of socio-economic, national defense and security in October 2020. Accordingly, although the Covid-19 disease situation in the country is under control, it continues to develop complicatedly. In this situation, the province continues to seriously and effectively implement the tasks of disease prevention and control; remove difficulties for businesses in production and business activities, promote socio-economic development; speed up the implementation and disbursement of public investment capital; assist specialists to entry, ensure social security, labor and employment; protect people's health; maintain political security, social order and safety in the province, so the socio-economic situation in October and October of 2020 shows positive signs, most of the key tasks met the schedule.
In October 2020, the industrial production continued to develop positively, import and export markets recovered, enterprises had orders which are increasing and focused on the production at the end of the year. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue were estimated at 21,877 billion Dong, increase by 0.4% over the previous month and 16.9% over the same period; Accumulated in 10 months, total retail sales of goods and services reached 208,123 billion, increase by 11.7% over the same period (the same period increased 17.9%). Export turnover is estimated at 2 billion 716 million USD, increase by 3.6% over the previous month and 21.1% over the same period; The province's main export goods all increased, accumulated in 10 months, it reached 22 billion 84 million USD, increased by 6.8% over the same period (the same period rose 14.2%).
From now to the end of the year, the province will focus on well implementing 06 groups of key solutions, striving to complete the plan at the highest level; at the same time, formulating socio-economic development plans, estimating state budget, public investment plans for 2021, organizing dialogue programs, meeting with associations, commodity industries and investors in domestic and abroad; working out a plan to stabilize the market for essential goods by the end of 2020 and early 2021; fully implementing policies and solutions to support businesses who are affected by the pandemic etc.

The meeting also approved the Proposals and draft resolutions: Regulation of support policies in building a new and advanced countryside, a model new countryside in Binh Duong province in the period 2021-2025; prescribing the rate and regulation of collection, payment, management and use of fees for the evaluation and grant of eligibility certificates for sports business; regulations on decentralization of management of cadres, civil servants, public employees and labors.
At the meeting, delegates gathered to discuss about enrollment, situation of disease prevention and control; the prevention and fighting against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit; natural disaster prevention and fighting; results of budget collection.
Delivering a speech at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked branches and localities to closely follow the key tasks, build action plans to implement the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress (04 breakthrough programs and 09 key tasks) with feasible, practical solutions, suitable with the actual situation. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested departments and branches to fully and thoroughly prepare the Proposals and draft resolutions to be submitted to the meeting of the Provincial People's Council at the end of 2020.
