In particular, the province has identified and focused on implementing 04 key and breakthrough tasks in the fields of economy, culture, society, creating the foundation and driving force to fulfill the objectives and development tasks to develop socio-economic in a sustainable direction, ensure the harmony between economic growth with cultural and human development, solve social problems, protect environmental resources and national defense and security. Up to now, the province has achieved and exceeded 16/18 development indicators of the whole term (of which, there are 06 indicators exceeding the set resolution) and 02 remaining indicators nearly reached the set plan.
Specifically, the gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increased on average 9.35% / year (Resolution: 8.3% / year). Economic structure (GRDP) in 2020 is industry - service - agriculture -taxes minus any subsidies on products, respectively, reaching 66.53% - 22.78% - 2.51% - 8.18% (Resolution: 63,2% - 26% - 3% - 7,8% ). Per capita GRDP will reach 155.7 million VND by 2020 (Resolution: 142.6 million VND). The index of industrial production (IIP) increased over 9.64% / year (Resolution: 8.7% / year). The ratio of public schools meeting national standards reaches 74.4% (Resolution: 70 - 75%). The ratio of doctors / 10,000 people reaches 7.5 (Resolution: Above 7.5). The number of hospital beds per 10,000 people reaches 21.3 (excluding at the commune level) (Resolution: 27). Annually, creating job for more than 46,500 workers (Resolution: 45,000 labors). The ratio of poor households under indicator of poverty reduction according to the multidimensional poverty index is below 1%. Average housing area is 31.5m2 / person. In term of environmental indicators, the rate of medical solid waste which is collected and treated is100% (Resolution: 100%); the rate of rural population using pure water 100% (Resolution: 100%); the rate of forest cover, forest trees, perennial industrial trees reaches 57.5% (Resolution: 57.5%).
