The 17th Provincial People's Council session, term IX is expected to take place from December 8 to December 10, 2020. This is a regular meeting at the end of 2020, focusing on assessing the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of People's Council on socio-economic development, law enforcement in the province by 2020 and setting out directions, mission in 2021; reviewing reports in accordance with the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Council; conducting question and answer sessions.
At the same time, to consider and decide on other important local issues for management and administration of province's socio-economic development in 2021 and the following years.
According to the program, the 17th session will listen to reports on results of the National Assembly session and consider 26 reports, 01 notice, 07 verification reports, 25 proposals, resolution draft , of which 14 drafts for legal resolution. The meeting with voters is expected from November 2 to 7, 2020.
It is emphasized at the 17th session, the Provincial People's Council term IX will have many important contents, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Mr. Vo Van Minh proposed the People's Committee to direct departments and branches to coordinate with the Provincial People's Council committees to carefully prepare the records, documents and related content in order to ensure quality and on schedule. It is also noted that the reports and draft resolutions, especially the legal resolutions submitted at the meeting, need to be carefully drafted and verified so that it is issued under the consensus of people.
