According to the report, the Party Committee of Thu Dau Mot City currently has 35 Party cells, the grassroots Party Committee with 8,292 members. On June 21, 22, and 23, 2020, the Party Committee of Thu Dau Mot City solemnly organized the 12th Party Congress. The preparation and organization of the Congress was thoughtfully and fully implemented in accordance with the regulations. The results of the Congress were highly appreciated by cadres, party members and the media.
After the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Decision no. 1473-QD/TU dated July 6, 2020 approving the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the titles of Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Thu Dau Mot city Party Committee, Session XII, term 2020-2025. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee focuses on directing closely, urgently and comprehensively right after the Congress, ensuring smooth leadership and administration. In which, the focus is on the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, simultaneously with the promotion of measures to maintain socio-economic development, stability of national defense and security in the city.
Based on the targets and tasks of the Resolution approved by the 12th Party Congress of Thu Dau Mot City, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee issued Official dispatch no. 20-CV/TU dated July 27, 2020 assigning advisory agencies and units to build 08 Programs, 02 Schemes, 01 Directive and 06 Plans to deploy the implementation with the requirement of serious preparation, following the Congress document, in which, ensuring steering point of view, major directions decided at the Congress and in accordance with the actual situation of the locality and unit.
