Participants in the Conference included representatives of departments, branches, communes, wards and towns in the province.
One Commune, One Product Program in Binh Duong Province in the period of 2018-2020, with a vision to 2025 aimed at developing forms of production and business organization (prioritizing the development of cooperatives, and small and medium-sized enterprises) to produce traditional products with the advantage of meeting standards and competitiveness in the domestic and international markets, contributing to economic restructuring and improving people's income.
Specifically, by 2020, the Program will be implemented in 9 districts, towns and cities, at least 43/46 communes, 20/45 wards and towns will have products registered for participation and at least 30 products evaluated and ranked 3 stars or more will be certified OCOP products at the provincial level, the program will also focus on agricultural products and key traditional industries of the province. However, the target will be adjusted due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, from now until the end of 2020, at least 05 products evaluated and ranked 3 stars or more will be certified OCOP products at the provincial level. At the same time, at least 01 OCOP Binh Duong Fair will be held and the registration of protection of intellectual property brand identification for OCOP Binh Duong brand will be completed.
Overall picture of the Conference
In the period of 2021-2025, 100% of communes in the province will have products participating in the OCOP program, at least 150 subjects will register to participate in the program, at least 80 products ranked 3 stars or more will be certified OCOP products at the provincial level, and at least 03 products ranked 5 stars will be certified national OCOP products.
The conference also approved the Program implementation plan and policies to support the production and consumption of agricultural products in Binh Duong Province, the organizational structure and personnel of the OCOP Program.
