According to the report of Department of Construction, there are currently 03 clean water supply units in the whole province. Specifically, Binh Duong Water - Environment Joint Stock Company currently has 07 water supply plants for urban and rural areas with a total designed capacity of 450,000m3/day and night; The Center for Rural Irrigation Investment and Exploitation is managing and operating 31 concentrated clean water supply works and connecting rural networks in 30 communes in 5 districts and towns of the province; Thu Dau Mot Water Joint Stock Company produces and sells clean water with a production capacity of about 160,000m3/day and night.
The Provincial People's Committee invests in construction and activation of the projects of collection and treatment of urban domestic wastewater. Specifically, treatment capacities in Thu Dau Mot City, Thuan An city and Da An city are 17,500m3/day and night, 17,000m3/day and night; 20,000m3/day and night, respectively. The amount of urban wastewater collected and treated is about 69,650m3/day and night, the collection rate is about 30%.
For the work of ensuring traffic order and safety (traffic safety), in the first 7 months of 2020, there were 729 road and waterway traffic accidents, leading to 153 deaths and 767 injured people and 1,340 damaged vehicles. Against the same period in 2019, the number of accidents decreased by 119 cases and the number of deaths neither increase nor decrease; the number of the injured decreased by 117 people. 71,189 cases of violations of the law on traffic order and urban orde were detected; 62,774 cases were punished with a total amount of more than VND 84 billion.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that in the coming time, Binh Duong will enhance the construction of urban landscape architecture, and overcome current limitations towards developing the urban with civilization, modernity and sustainability.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Dinh Toan emphasized that the province's planning has been well implemented in recent years, making an important contribution to the overall development of Binh Duong. Especially, Binh Duong has been approved by the Prime Minister to make a planning for Binh Duong province in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 to ensure the promotion of the role and position of Binh Duong province as one of the most dynamic development localities of the southern region and the whole country. Therefore, in the coming time, the departments and branches should closely coordinate to soon complete the planning scheme.
