The participants include Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
At the conference, the representative of the provincial People's Committee announced the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the first 6 months of 2020. Accordingly, in the past 6 months, the province's socio-economy has achieved many positive results, and political security, social order and safety have been maintained. The total social product of the province increased by 6.73% compared to the same period in 2019, the total retail sales of goods and service revenue was estimated at nearly VND 122,400 billion, up by 9.4% over the same period. Export turnover is estimated at USD 11.9 billion, increased by 0.4%; import turnover is estimated at USD 9.4 billion, increased by 4.2% over the same period. In the first 6 months, the whole province spent over 69 billion VND to support people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. Particularly, socio-political organizations, members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also donated money and in-kind objects worth nearly VND 260 billion to help people facing difficulties due to epidemics, drought, saline intrusion, etc.
The conference also approved the report on the coordination and unifying program of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2020; unanimously negotiated and replaced two permanent members and two members of the 9th Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao acknowledged the achievements of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations in recent years; At the same time, he recommended the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the members to well implement the contents and tasks of the Committee in the last 6 months of the year; donate, contribute ideas to the Party Congress at all levels, well organize activities to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Fatherland Front Day.
