In the first 6 months of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic had a direct impact on the situation of tax declaration and payment, especially in March and April 2020. However, Binh Duong's taxation sector focused on drastically implementing solutions that both supported taxpayers and strengthened revenue management, accelerated administrative procedure reforms and created favorable conditions for taxpayers. As of June 30, 2020, revenue to the State budget is VND 22,642 billion, accounting for 50.2% of the yearly estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance and by 107.9% over the same period in 2019.
Overview of the conference
In the last 6 months of 2020, the Taxation Department sets out the main missions: Implementing the Government's supporting policies according to Decree No. 41, Resolution No. 42, Decision No. 15, Resolution No. 84 of the Government on missions and solutions to remove difficulties for production and business, promote economic development and ensure social order and safety in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Simultaneously, deploying propaganda and supporting taxpayers for new tax policies applied from July 1, 2020, well organizing enterprise dialogue, answering policy problems; surveying taxpayers' satisfaction with the tax authorities, contributing to improving the business environment and improving national competitiveness in 2020. In addition, strengthening training and fostering to improve the qualifications of cadres and civil servants, raising the self-discipline to strictly observe disciplines and rules, raising the sense of responsibility of cardes, civil servants in performing public duties in compliance with the policy of Binh Duong Taxation sector "Publicity, transparency, lawfulness, punctuality, good performance of preventing and fighting against corruption, thrift practice and waste combat"; strictly managing taxpayers, ensuring that taxpayers are required to declare, pay taxes, promptly and fully as prescribed. Focusing on the inspection, especially inspecting transfer price, inspecting and rectifying business households and individuals doing business in the area, and inspecting at the headquarters of Tax authorities; completing the internal inspection plan in 2020 and internal inspection on business household management.
