According to Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Rector of EIU, with the philosophy of "Human, community, creativity and sustainability", EIU is not only a university model of teaching and learning but also is a community for working, studying and researching for common development. Currently, EIU is focusing on training major faculties of management science, technical science - technology and health sciences. In order to become an international standard university, EIU focuses on training programs according to Asian university accreditation standards, defining the minimum English level of IELTS 6.0; building an ecosystem of "Teaching learning - Scientific research - Connecting communities - Practicing startups". Specifically, the business incubator, TechLab, manufacturing laboratory and lighting lab were built by EIU to create the ideal learning environment and create the best conditions for students.
In the past 3 years, more than 95% of EIU students after graduation have had jobs appropriate to their professional knowledge. In 2019 only, over 75% of students have had jobs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dang Minh Hung - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee appreciated the efforts and considerable contributions of Eastern International University during the past time. Moreover, EIU needs to pay attention to improving the quality of training to improving labor resources; proactively prepare to open a number of training codes to meet the requirements of industrialization, modernization contributing to building the Binh Duong smart city. Students need to strive, be diligent in training, study, scientific researches to become a useful citizen.
