The overview of 10th WTA University Presidents' Forum
Addressing the event, President of Binh Duong-based Eastern International University Nguyen Van Phuc said Binh Duong, under the Triple Helix model is on the progress to become a mart city in Vietnam with the collaboration of three significant factors, namely the government, businesses and universities. In this model, universities and the interactive government play significantly important roles. Therefore, the contact between universities and the government should be furthered and that is considered one of the challenges facing not only Binh Duong but smart cities and WTA's members. The WTA University Presidents' Forum offered a platform for heads of universities to meet and discuss and share possible measures to increase role of universities in research and development, thus bolstering academic and industrial cooperation and setting up start-up ecosystem.

On this occasion, the event witnessed the MoU signed by EIU and South Korea's Chung Nam National University, and 19 universities of Viet Nam and WTA's community that helps to form bilateral and multilateral relations for the aims of supplying and exchanging human resource, researching and dealing with practical matters of the localities.
