At the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong – Director of provincial Department of Science and Technology revealed that the contest is organized under the coordination between Binh Duong People's Committee, the World Science City (WTA) and Daejeon city (Korea).This is one of the activities in the framework of the 20th Anniversary of the WTA. The contest aims at discovering, supporting and creating an environment for the development of creative ideas in smart urban construction and development in the community in order to realize the development plan of Binh Duong smart city. It also focuses on boosting renovation work and improving the quality of life. Related areas include smart urban management, healthcare, culture and tourism, smart education, public services, environmental energy, urban agriculture and smart production.
The criteria include new and innovative features, the feasibility to apply to real life, especially in building Binh Duong smart city, improving the quality of life and creating socio-economic effectiveness.
The contest is simultaneously organized in Viet Nam and Korea, including 3 rounds. The preliminary and the semifinal rounds will compete in Binh Duong and Daejeon city. The Final round will be held in Binh Duong.
The preliminary round will be from July 15th 2018 to August 31st 2018. The semifinal is from September 1st 2018 to September 2018. The final will be held on October 2018.
Students of high schools colleges, university in Viet Nam and Korea are subjects to the contest.
The registration form submitted to the Organizing Committee no later than August 20.

- 01 second prize: VND 70.000.000;
