At the reception, Mr.Kyle Nunas said that Vietnam and Canada have established mutual friendship and cooperation for more than 40 years. Bilateral cooperation in the fields of protecting the environment and combating climate change is now the top priority. In the coming time, Canada will create technical initiatives to support Vietnam in infrastructure development and waste treatment. He also expressed his impression at Binh Duong's development and said that a delegation of Canadian enterprises in waste treatment and clean technology development will pay a visit to Binh Duong in July, 2018 in research of investment opportunities. In addition, Canada will advocate Binh Duong in investment development under the "public-private partnership" (PPP) form.

Mr. Dung hoped that after the visit, many Canadian enterprises will visit Binh Duong and learn about the local investment climate, especially in terms of waste treatment, environmental protection and technical infrastructure as well as experience exchange to develop PPP form in Binh Duong, tightening the bilateral friendship between the two countries. Binh Duong will also have opportunities to cooperate with other localities of Canada, he added.
