At the reception, Secretary of provincial Party Committee congratulated Lim Jae Hoon on his new position while affirming that the cooperation between Viet Nam and South Korean in general, Binh Duong and localities of South Korean in particular has unceasingly developed.
The long lasting relationship with South Korea's Deajon city has enabled Binh Duong to join in the World Technopolis Association (WTA) recently and to host events to celebrate WTA's 20th anniversary by October 2016, which is considered as one of favorable factors for Binh Duong to develop into a smart city. Mr. Nam expected South Korean Consulate General in HCMC to cooperate with Binh Duong in organizing the event successfully.
The new Consulate General thanked the provincial leader and authorities for warm welcome and expressed his delight at the fine relationship between Binh Duong and South Korean localities. He affirmed that The South Korean Consulate in HCM city will coordinate with Binh Duong to successfully organize the WTA event, hoping that Binh Duong will continue to facilitate business of Korean investors in locality.

Also on May 14th, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee also received Lim Jae Hoon, the new Consul General of South Korea in HCM city.
At the reception, Mr.Liem briefed the province's socio-economic development over the past years. He said that Binh Duong is now ranked second in FDI attraction nationwide, home of over 3,000 enterprises from 63 countries and territories with the total registered capital of over USD 31 billion. Korea has nearly 700 investment projects with the total investment capital of USD 2.9 billion. The Chairman of provincial People's Committee wished Jae Hoon success in his official term and expected he will keep acting as a bridge between Binh Duong and Korean investors while pledging that the province will further create the best conditions for South Korean investors to work effectively.
