Deputy Chairman of provincial People's Committee praised the contributions of the workforce to the development of the province over the past time while adding that the 2018 provincial Workers' Month and Young Workers' Week will be the month for local administration and business community to take care of workers' spiritual and material lives. He urged the Trade Unions of all levels to have suitable plans and programs, to innovate their operation for the legitimate rights of laborers and sustainable development of the enterprises.

On this occasion, the organizers awarded the certificates of merit of provincial People's Committee to 15 enterprises well realizing a task of providing workers with meals, gave 100 gifts worth VND1million each for good-but-poor workers. Becamex IDC also offered a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on handing over 3 hectares of land at Bau Bang district's Administrative Center to relevant units to build a culture center for workers. Kim Oanh Real Estate Services-Trading and Construction Joint Stock Company funded construction of 28/7 kindergarten in phase 2 with VND18 billion at My Phuoc Industrial Park. Kim Sang Agricultural Products Joint Stock Company and VNPT's Binh Duong branch donated 220 gifts to workers with difficult circumstances. On this occasion, these two units also signed a MoU on applying welfare policies for workers. Provincial Support Fund for Alien Young Workers offered 10 support packages in cash at between VND1million and VND3million each to needy alien workers.
The organizers also launched a text-message campaign to raise fund for the program of "Accompanying women in border areas" at the ceremony.

In the 2018 provincial Workers' Month and Young Workers' Week, the focus will include improving the quality of meals for workers; building accommodation, kindergartens, amusement centers; improving working conditions' taking care of needy workers; implementing the democratic regulations for workers at the workplaces; organizing talks and dialogues between enterprises and workers. Provincial Trade Union will cooperate with relevant branches to organize cultural and sports activities, understand the thoughts of workforces, deploy campaigns to train, improve working skills, knowledge for workers.
