The general survey on economy in 2017 was conducted in different fields with large scale and complicated contents. Although different challenges occurred during the process, the survey was completed successfully thanks to the concerns of provincial authorities; leadership of the Central Steering Committee, local Party Committee, People's Committee; the high sense of responsibility of members; and the cooperation and supports from businesses and administrative organs…As a result, the survey was checked, taken over and accepted by the Central Steering Committee for Economy General Survey with good result.
Accordingly, the province has totally 128,716 economic units, state public service institutions, and religious establishments, increasing by 41.6% compared to the result of 2012 survey; and 15,926 enterprises running their business in Binh Duong, up by 14.9% compared to the same period, by 4.4% compared to the result of 2017 survey, and by 76.3% compared to the result of 2012 survey.

Addressing the conference, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Liem acknowledged the achievements, praised the provincial Steering Committee for Economy General Survey and the Statistics Office of Binh Duong for their excellent accomplishment in 2017. He emphasized that the tasks of data collection and report were promptly and exactly conducted while urging functional sectors to improve the tasks of collecting, analyzing and evaluating the production quality, especially the quality of local industrial production in 2018. He also expected them to pay more attention to investing in modern production facilities and technologies for higher capacity.
At this conference, 2 individuals were handed over with certificates of merits of Governmental Prime Minister for their brilliant efforts and achievements from 2012 to 2016. Certificates of merits of provincial People's Committee were also granted to 46 other individuals and collectives for their excellent achievement in implementing the tasks of general survey on economy in 2017.
