Speaking with General Director of Kraft Vina Paper Co., Ltd, Mr. Mai
Hung Dung briefed on socio-economic situation of Binh Duong. Particularly in
2017, the locality attracted more than USD $2.6 billion in foreign direct investment,
exceeding 85% of
annual plan and
contributing to raising the number of FDI enterprises in the province up to more than 3,500
enterprises with a total investment capital of more than USD $28 billion. Along with other
investment sources, the FDI sector has contributed to making the Industrial Development
Index of the province in 2017 increase by 10.98% and export value in the year stay at USD $ 28.6 billion etc.
Permanent Vice Chairman of
provincial People's Committee oriented in the coming time, Binh Duong province will
pay attention to
attracting investment projects that have high gray
matter contents, high added value and be environmentally friendly. The province will
create favorable conditions for investors to look for opportunities to invest in production and
business with high efficiency.
