Mr., Sung il Mo expressed his pleasure to visit Binh Duong and informed that Mando Corporation, specializing in manufacturing automobile components is ranked 42nd worldwide with 18 domestic factories and around 300 joint ventures in South Korea and China. He added that the enterprises of the Corporation are well developed and look forward to expanding market to other countries including Viet Nam. Visiting Sungjin Foma, a company belonging to Mando Corporation in My Phuoc industrial park, Mr. Sung il Mo highly and impressively appreciated the potential of Viet Nam in general and Binh Duong in particular, and skilled hard working laborers. He expected that the Corporation's enterprises will find more opportunities to invest in Binh Duong through meetings and talks with provincial leaders and those of Becamex IDC.

Provincial People's Committee in his part informed that Binh Duong now has 3,009 foreign investment projects with the total capital of nearly USD 28 billion. With 613 projects, capitalized at over USD 3 billion, South Korea is the third largest investor among nations and territories running business in Binh Duong. The Chairman affirmed that South Korean Consulate in Ho Chi Minh city and enterprises in the locality, along with investing in socio-economic development, have shown their responsibilities, contributing to the welfare activities in the locality. He expected that the solidarity and cooperative relationship between Viet Nam and South Korea, particularly between Binh Duong and localities of South Korea will be strongly reinforced and tightened. He pledged local authorities will create favorable conditions and accompany with South Korean enterprises to develop their business and socio-economic situation of the province.
