Speaking at the reception, The Consul General said that Holland pays much attention to enhancing diplomatic tasks and investing for sustainable development in many countries including Vietnam. Binh Duong province and localities of Holland have built up and maintained good relationships, especially in carrying out the project of Binh Duong Smart City. He expected both sides to keep on sharing, exchanging experiences and strengthening friendship and cooperative relationship in all fields, especially in the fields of education and technology development.

Expressing his gratitude to the concerns and cooperation of Holland, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Liem acknowledged that Holland is one of the big investors in Binh Duong with 22 projects and the total investment capital of USD 700 million mainly in food processing industry. Liem expected that the new Consul General will call more Holland’s enterprises to make investment in Binh Duong.
