The remark was made by Deputy Chairman of Binh
Duong People’s Committee Dang Minh Hung at a reception for Cambodian
delegation, led by Chap Sothrith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of
Cambodia - Vietnam Friendship Association, and delegation of Vietnam led by Vu
Mao, Chairman of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association. The event, part
of the activities within the framework of the fourth Vietnam-Cambodia people
cooperation and friendship meeting program was hosted at Binh Dương
Administrative Center by Mr. Hung and attended by Deputy Chairwoman of Binh
Duong People’s Council Nguyen Thi Kim Van together with representatives of
provincial departments.
The Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong People’s
Committee highly appreciated the fourth Vietnam-Cambodia people cooperation and
friendship meeting program and reminded that the visit of Prime Minister of
Cambodia Hunsen on June 20th, 2017 to Binh Duong where he had talks
to local people has been the honor of Binh Duong. Hung also affirmed that the
traditional friendship and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and
Cambodia is a valuable property that should be preserved and promoted by the
two peoples.
Addressing at the reception, The Deputy Chairman
of Binh Duong People’s Committee expected that Vietnam-Cambodia and
Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Associations will keep on organizing many exchange
activities and mutual supports to strengthen and boost the traditional
friendship and cooperative relationship shared by the two peoples.

The fourth Vietnam-Cambodia people cooperation
and friendship meeting program consists of cultural exchanges; a meeting to
share experiences between the two countries' friendship organizations and
reviews the two years of implementation of the cooperation agreement between
the two countries' friendship associations. This event also witnesses visits
and exchange meetings between enterprises of Vietnam and Cambodia in HCMC, Binh
Duong and Ba Ria- Vung Tau provinces.
