This is a necessary step to change from using motorbike as a mode of transportation to use public transport. Therefore, for easy access to public transport on a large scale, high service quality, Binh Duong province has written to the Government on the proposal to build a fast bus connection between Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City. The fast bus route will have a starting point at "Binh Duong New City" and the end point at Suoi Tien Subway Station, Ho Chi Minh City, passing through the center of Thu Dau Mot City, Thuan An and Di An Town with a total length of 30,8 km, using the priority lane. The total investment of the project is over 1.800 billion VND from ODA loans of Japan. It is expected that the project will be started in 2018 and completed in 2019. This project is considered to create more conditions for Binh Duong to achieve the goal of becoming a civilized, modern and intelligent city.
With the initial effect of modern bus, at the opening ceremony of bus parking for Becamex Tokyu Bus passengers, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has proposed to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) continues to study and submit to the Government of Japan to support Binh Duong to develop more fast bus routes connecting Thuan An, Di An, Ben Cat and Tan Uyen town with "Binh Duong New City".
