At the meeting, H.E Bernabe Garcia Valido emphasized the special friendship between Vietnam and Cuba. Over time, the two countries have a lot of specific economic, trade and diplomatic cooperation. The Consul General expressed his special affection for country and people of Vietnam, and also thanked provincial leaders for their support and favorable conditions for letting him complete his term. In the future, in whatever position, he will continue to be a bridge, contributing to strengthen traditional friendship and solidarity between the two countries

Over the years working in Vietnam, the Consul General has become a reliable bridge between Cuba and Vietnam in general and Binh Duong province in particular.
