Attending the conference was Nguyen Thanh Binh, the Director of Southern Affairs of Ministry of Justice, Dang Minh Hung, the Deputy Chair of Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, sectors, and agencies in the province as well as people's committees in districts, towns, and Thu Dau Mot City.
Upholding the major tasks of administrative procedure reforms and implementation of socio-economic development of the province, Provincial People's Committee has issued documents specifying and directing the focused implementation of Decision No. 08/QD-TTg dated January 6th, 2015 regarding planning of administrative procedure simplification, and Directive No. 13/CT-TTg dated June 10th, 2015 of Prime Minister regarding the improvement of responsibilities of leaders of all-level State's administrative agencies in administrative procedure reforms. Accordingly, the targets and tasks of administrative procedure simplification have basically carried out to ensure transparency and facilitate activities of individuals and enterprises, contributing to the improvement of investment and business environment, promoting growth.

Up to date, all the administrative procedures have been standardized and timely publicized in national database, provincial website, and location of receiving and processing administrative procedures. in 2016, the province has issued plan to simplify administrative procedures in the fields to enable timely amendments and supplementation of 23 administrative procedures that are no longer suitable. Concurrently, Provincial People's Committee has timely organized meetings and talks to timely remove obstacles for enterprises.
100% of provincial and district units in the province have implemented the model of the modern integrated One-stop Shop (OSS) together with the construction of friendly government and authorities of he people and for the people and friendly offices servicing the public, contributing to improvement of administrative reforming efficiency. Continual reforms of taxation procedures, 16,246 out of 17,385 enterprises in the province have implemented electronic tax declaration and payments. As for customs, VNACCS/VCIS has been implemented and maintained effectively with connection to State's Treasury regarding the administrative procedures of digital signatures in transactions with the Treasury and public services.

Addressing the conference, Dang Minh Hung, the Deputy Chair of Provincial People's Committee demanded sectors, agencies, and localities to continue with the control of administrative procedures to ensure timely consultancy with leadership for effective implementation and to follow Decision No. 08/QD-TTg of Prime Minister for universal implementation in the province. Concurrently, administrative procedure implementation shall be thoroughly controlled and inspected to improve awareness of their significance among the system of officers and cadres. Information dissemination and publication of the addresses accepting and processing feedbacks and recommendations for administrative procedures shall be promoted.
On the occasion, Provincial People's Committee awarded merit certificates to 7 collectives and 4 individuals for their excellent achievements in administrative reforms in 2015 and 2016.
