The Project is built on the base of analyses, qualifications of the situation and development of tourism in Binh Duong province in the previous years, tourist potentialities should be enhanced and exploited conformably to the regional and local socio-economic development orientation.
The purpose of Project is to build the system of attractive tourist products in order to lure visitors, create the revenue, develop the provincial tourism, contributing to the economic structural transition. Moreover, the Project is aiming at meeting the demands of visit, entertainment and discovery of people of Binh Duong province and others provinces, contributing to preserve and exploit effectively the historical monuments, cultural heritage values, ecological values…in order to build the “Binh Duong Tourism brand”.
Binh Duong estimated to receive about 5 million tourists to 2015
Binh Duong province focuses to develop the tourist products including: traditional craft village tours, ecological tours associated with resorts tours, orchard tours, cultural and historical tours, entertainment tours, spyche tours, sportive tours….. Until 2020, medical tours, MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conferencing and Exhibition – tours in coordination with event organization), river tours, adventure climbing tours will be added to diversify the tourist products.
Until 2015, Binh Duong will receive about 5 billion visitors, of which, 43 thousands foreign travelers, achieving around 2,200 billion VND, creating jobs for more than 15 thousands direct labours and 6 million visitors with the revenue of 2,200 billion VND, creating jobs for 30,000 labours until 2020.
At the meeting, the concerned departments gave their points of view in order to perfect the Project and suggested to detail the orientations and objectives of the provincial tourist products development, enhance in investing in products attracting foreign visitors as well as preserve the cultural and historical values, promote the tourism investment, advertisement, build the international tours…
Giving the close speech, Vice Chairman Huynh Van NHI agreed principally the Project and requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to collect the supplementary opinions aiming to complete the Project.
