Planning for industrial clusters plays an important role for provincial industrial development, contributes to provide infrastructure for medium and small enterprises, creates relations in manufacturing and product consuming between the companies in the industrial zones and between the industrial clusters to gather, solves problems of environment pollution, settles relocation and builds commerce centers at industrial zones.

Tan My Industrial Clusters
To 2015, planning objectives include of 8 industrial clusters (Binh Chuan, An Thanh, Tan Dong Hiep, Tan My, Uyen Hung, Phu Chanh, Thanh An and The Beauty City Joint Stock Company) to complete infrastructure, with the waste water treatment plant operated, and an average rate of industrial clusters fulfillment over 60%; aim to the quantity of 16 industrial clusters with over 1.081 hectares. To 2020, aim to get 20 industrial clusters with over 1.282 hectares and average fulfill rate of 50%. To 2025, Binh Duong aim to have 26 industrial clusters with over 1,644 hectares and an everage fulfill rate of 80%.
After hearing the opinions of the Appraisal Council members, Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem suggested the Consulting firm coordinate with the relevant units to adjust the planning suitably and update the data before submitting to Provincial People’s Committee for its approval.

At present, there are 8 industrial clusters in Binh Duong (Binh Chuan, An Thanh, Tan Dong Hiep, Tan My, Uyen Hung, Phu Chanh, Thanh An and The Beauty City Joint Stock Company) with total square of over 578 hectares. To Dec 2012, 6/8 units completed for clearance and compensation (Binh Chuan, An Thanh, Tan Dong Hiep, Tan My, Thanh An and The Beauty City Joint Stock Company). Besides, there are some spontaneous industrial clusters as Thuan Giao-An Phu-Binh Chuan industrial cluster (Thuan An town), Binh Chanh industrial cluster (Khanh Binh, Tan Uyen district), Thanh Phuoc industrial cluster on building materials,…. with over 900 hectares.
