Mr. Vo Van Minh, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong province People’s Committee, Mr. Oh Jae Hack, Consul General of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Lee Jong Hoe, Chairman of Binh Duong KOCHAM, sponsors and 160 disadvantaged students attended the ceremony.
160 underprivileged local students who had difficult situation were granted 160 scholarships that were worth VND 460 million. In 160 scholarships, there were 70 units for high school students, VND 4 million each, the rest were offered to elementary and secondary students, VND 2 million each. The ceremony was sponsored by Binh Duong KOCHAM, Panko Vina Co., Ltd; Sung Bu Vina Co., Ltd and Four Seasons Co., Ltd in order to alleviate difficulties and support the students.

Mr. Lee Jong Hoe, Chairman of Binh Duong KOCHAM informed that in the last five years, Binh Duong KOCHAM and Korean-invested companies in Binh Duong supported over VND 1.5 billion for social activities such as: 1000 new year presents (VND 550 million in total), 200 scholarships for students (VND 700 million in total), 4 houses of gratitude (over VND 280 million).
Also on this occasion, Sung Bu Vina Co., Ltd honorably received the “Study Encouragement” campaign medal, awarded by Study Promotion Society.
