P&G offered 150 poor and studious students scholarships in Binh Duong province

BEGIC – Aug 30, Procter & Gamble Co., Ltd in Vietnam cooperated with Binh Duong Labor Union to organize the ceremony to offer scholarships for poor and studious students in Binh Duong province in the school year 2011 - 2011.
150 scholarships, each one includes 600.000 VND, 20 notebooks and pens, with total value 120 million VND were offered for students in seven districts who were in a poor living, or an orphan, or father or mother met labor accidents.  
 
 
 
It was the fourteenth scholarship program of P&G Corporation, helped over 1500 students going to school and be a part of the project “Because of bright future” which aimed to aid children in difficult conditions going to school.
 
General Director of P&G Emre Olcer said that “The biggest target of all P&G’s activities was to improve standard of living for many people. It is expressed through not only providing products with international quality which contributed to go up standard of living but also sponsoring to community focused on education supports for children”.
