On behalf of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Mai The Trung welcomed the working visit of Champasak delegation to the province. He also thanked for facilitation offered by Champasak Government to Binh Duong and Viet Nam enterprises investing in the province. Two leaders also discussed further cooperation between two localities.
After working with the Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, the delegation continued working with leaders of the provincial People’s Committee. Chairman Tran Van Nam and Standing Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem and leaders of provincial departments received the delegation.

At the reception, on behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Le Phu Hoa, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs briefly informed the cooperation status between Binh Duong and Champasak in the priod of 2011-2015. In the area of external relations and cooperation, there has been 16 visits conducted by high-ranking delegations. In terms of investment, Binh Duong actively implemented the the project of planting 10,000 hectares of rubber trees and the development of ceramics and construction materials. On education and training and human resources development, Binh Duong province grants 05 scholarships for 05 Champasak students annually. Since 2011, every year the province receives a delegation of retired Champasak senior officials traveling to Binh Duong for health check and sightseeing.

Champasak province actively supported and facilitated Dau Tieng Viet - Lao Rubber JSC to plant 10,000 hectares of rubber trees. Until now the company received 6722 hectares of land used for planting rubber trees in which there are 5245 hectares in Champasak province and 1477 hectares in Salavan province. The government of Champasak province also offered 6 scholarships for Binh Duong officials and staff of Dau Tieng Viet - Lao Rubber JSC to study Lao language.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Bounthong Divixay thanked the provincial leaders for warmly receive the delegation as well as their attention and facilitation. He hoped to have a chance to study Binh Duong experience in industrial parks development and FDI attraction.
