At the working session, Mr. Norbert Lammert assessed the bilateral relations as well as the relations between European Community and South East Asia Region. He led the German Parliament delegation to attend 132nd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-132) from March 28 to April 1, 2015 in Hanoi. This is an event of significance, especially in current globalization context; the countries’ relations are getting closer. President Lammert emphasized that both countries have many things in common in terms of population and history. Germany always support and cooperate with Viet Nam on many areas, especially education. The Vietnamese – German University is the combination of German modern education and Vietnamese education experience. It is the proof of the friendly, cooperative relations between two countries.

Vietnamese - German University is the first out of four project of high quality university model of Vietnam Government. The training program focuses on technology, IT and economics, taught in English by German professors. After graduation, students also receive certificate issued by the Federal Republic of Germany.
