After the incident on May 13, with the direction of the Central Government and drastic measures of Binh Duong province, currently enterprises received support policies such as: unemployment insurance and salary for workers, tax reduction, exemption and VAT refund policies, land-rental fee reduction, import-export tax reduction/exemption, interest rate reduction… Insurance companies also timely advanced compensation for affected enterprises.
However due to unexpected issues such as some insurance companies slowly paid compensation, the interpreter did not clearly interpret the Government’s support policies… that led to misunderstanding, affecting some businesses’ recovery. Hence at the meeting, leaders of the Department of Tax, the Department of Customs, the State Bank and Binh Duong Industrial Parks Management Board… helpfully explained the support policies.
