At the meeting, chairman Le Thanh Cung pleased to receive U.S. Ambassador David Shear and thanked for his assistance in creating favorite conditions for US enterprises to invest in Binh Duong province. He highly appreciated their operations that have contributed to provincial socio-economic development. In the coming time, Binh Duong province will impulse the development toward industry and services, he hoped that U.S. government would promote the economic cooperation and human resource training for the province through industrial modernization process.
U.S. Ambassador said that his purpose of this business trip in Binh Duong this time was to share basis contents of Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement and believed that after signing the agreement, investment environment of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular would be more attractive to major investors around the world. He promised that he would have suggestions to US government to improve the economic cooperation and human resource training for Binh Duong province as soon as possible.
At the same day, Chairman Le Thanh Cung received Chairman of the Korean Business Association in Ho Chi Minh city Lee Jong Hoe to hail on the occasion of his new term.
