According to the proposed report, in the first three months of 2013, 38 collective labour conflicts and strikes were happened in 37 local enterprises with the participation of over 8,000 people, a decrease of 16% in comparison with the same period of 2012.
The main reasons of collective labour conflicts and strikes resulted from violating the Labour Law regulations by employers; delinquent salary payment under the enterprises’ norms; enterprises do not paying the compensation before and after Tet holiday for workers; employees requesting the increased salary higher than the level regulated by the State and augmentation others allowances.
After the speeches of concerned departments, Vice Chairman Huynh Van Nhi requested to continue to consolidate and construct the Trade Union in companies, enhance the roles of Trade Union bases in establishing the harmonious relation between employee and entrepreneur. Provincial Labour Federation coordinates to related departments and communication agencies to propandize policies, Labour Law regulations, and Trade Union activities for workers; organize the dialogues, workshops among provincial authorities, business associations, workers and Trade Union officials to promptly dissolve the difficulties, clear the pending matters. Provincial Public Security directs district, town and city public security to timely find out, stop and strictly punish acts exciting the illegal strikes.
Members of provincial Board of Direction enhance, direct the building the harmonious, stable and advance relation in enterprises, implementing the labour regulations aiming to the illegal collective labour disputes and strikes, contributing to stabilizing workers’ life, the production, ensuring the sustainable economic development.
