In the funeral book, Mr Mai The Trung wrote “Binh Duong province’s Party committee and people pay final respect to General Giap who was a veteran revolutionary, a brilliant military commander, the bid brother of the heroic Vietnam People’s Army; having great contributions to the nation’s two resistance wars against French and American; giving Ho Chi Minh Thought to become a science subject with a mixture of people’s life. At the same time, you will forever be an example of next generations. To express our deep gratitude and respectfully see you off to pass into eternity”.
