Binh Duong has to be the top province in renovating the development model and restructuring the economy in order to enhance the quality, effect and competitiveness; rapidly and sustainably develop the economy following the direction proposed by the IX ^th Congress of Vietnam Party Communist and the Third Meeting of the 8^th Plenum of the Party Central Committee; rapidly develop the key industries and services, especially mechanic, food industry, auxiliary, high and advance technology industries which bring great values, minimally cause the environmental pollution and help to develop the high quality service; Expand modernly the agriculture in the orientation of high technology agriculture, urban agriculture, agricultural manufacture in coordination with food industry; develop and construct the new rural as planned.

 

Continue to develop the homogenous and modern infrastructure aiming to meet the demand of social economic development; construct the civilized and modernly Binh Duong new City; build homogenous superior urban and service zones coordinated with industry and service; strictly cooperate with provinces and cities in the Southern Key economic zone to maximally profit from potential advantages of the whole region and its city and provinces members.

 

Economic growth combines in parallel with the advanced and equitable society. Thus, Binh Duong province needs to continue to pay great attention in the culture, society, education and health. Enhance the human resources and the spirit and material life of the local people; ensure the living conditions of workers in the industrial parks; well assure the social welfares, especially for wounded soldiers, martyrs ’families, people with meritorious services to the Revolution and underprivileged people. Implement the poverty alleviation following the new provincial poverty standards; ameliorate living conditions of miserable people, reduce sustainably the gap between the rich and poor.

 

Assure the solid national defense – security; build the local armed forces; ensure security – politic, local social security, promptly resolve complex problems; fight against crime, boycott social evils… create favorable conditions to develop the economy and guarantee the peaceful life for local people.

 

Build strong and pure Party and political organizations; fulfill the urgent tasks of building the Party organization fixed by the 9^th Congress of Party Communist of Vietnam and the Resolution of the 4^th and   9^th plenums Central Congress. Increase the effect and competence of public organizations, the provincial Fatherland Front and social associations, the renovation of administration, justice; fight against the bureaucracy, corruption, waste and degradation of political thought, moral, and lifestyle of government officials and party members. Build the human resources, especially the core personnel having stable political thought, pure moral, and knowledge in order to satisfy the requirements of the provincial growth in the current integral context.

 

Mr. Truong Tan Sang affirmed: “After 15 years of re-establishment, Binh Duong province obtained significant achievements. Currently, Binh Duong is in the new development period, full of advantages and inconveniences. Benefiting by the provincial heroic traditions, potentialities, opportunities and Binh Duong people’s dignity and intelligence, the provincial Party Committee and people will certainly reach the targets proposed by the Resolution of the IX ^th Congress of Provincial Party Committee. Binh Duong province will become one of national pioneer localities in the industrialization and modernization, a modern-oriented and industrial province and a City under the Central government in 2020.
