Participants were Mr. Mai The Trung, Commissioner of Party Central, Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Binh Duong People’s Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Van, Vice - Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council the former provincial leaders and leaders of provincial departments and distingue guests.

 

 

The EIU’s project was started on August 13, 2009 on an area of more than 45 hectares and 10 hectares for dormitory with a total capital of more than US$100 millions. In the first academic year (2011 -2015), EIU had received 720 students (including the first and second registration) in 3 faculties: Business Management, Technique- Technology and Health Science (Nursering). The university has about 120 lecturers, among of them 25 foreigners.

 

 

 

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan appreciated EIU’s educational environment, especially its international standard training programs thanks to the coorporation with leading universities from United States, United Kingdom. More ever, EIU continues to strength the manager and lecturer team; gradually accelerate subjects in English; promote international students and train human resource in order to meet the demand of enterprises.

 

At the event, EIU’s Board of Directors had signed an agreement concerned English teaching with British Council in Ho Chi Minh city.

 

  

    

Furthermore, the Board offered Becamex scholarship worth 20 billion VND for qualified students, among of them, 4 full scholarships for valedictorians.
