Eastern International University Ground-Breaking Ceremony

BEGIC - August 13, the Ground-breaking Ceremony of Eastern International University took place at Binh Duong Industrial – Services - Residential Complex. Deputy Prime Minister Mr.Nguyen Thien Nhan and General Consuls of the United States, Japan, China and Malaysia attended this ceremony.
The Eastern International University is planned on an area of 26 hectares in  Binh Duong new township. This project is capitalized a total of 1,700 billion Vietnam dongs invested by Becamex IDC Corp. The first phase is planned to be finished on the second quarter of 2010 for the 2010-2011 school year opening. This university provides training in multiple levels and different faculties such as techniques, economic management, medicines and nursing. The university estimates to  receive 24 thousands students a year in 2020.

On behalf of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan sent his congratulations to Binh Duong people and officials on their achievements in economic construction and development. The Prime Minister’s approval on the Eastern International University foundation plan will enhance human resources training in new model, and meet the requirement in socio-economic development for Binh Duong province in particular and for the south-east region in general.
